Anxious to begin our European trip

This Neuschwanstein Castle is one of the sights we plan to visit on our 20-day trip to Europe! We booked our time share over 13 months ago, and booked the flights last December. So, we've been anxiously awaiting this adventure for a long time. It's finally here!

We depart tomorrow, Friday, Sept 13 and arrive in Munich on Saturday morning. We will pick up our rental car and drive to our time share in Scharnitz, Austria.

Week One
Sat Sept 14       Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany; Scharnitz, food shopping, staying awake until nighttime!
Sun Sept 15      Innsbruck, Austria
Mon Sept 16    Füssen, Germany; Neuschwanstein castle, Hohenschwangau castle.
Tue Sept 17     Oberammergau, Germany; Essen; Linderhof castle
Wed Sept 18   Short day trips near Scharnitz such as Mittenwald, Germany and Seefeld, Austria
Thu Sept 19     Herrenchiemsee castle in Bavaria; Kufstein, Austria
Fri Sept 20      Italy over Brenner Pass; Subaital Valley, Austria; Ambras Schloss

Week Two
Sat Sept 21     Depart time share, drive to Königssee, stay in Ramsau, Germany
Sun Sept 22    Berchtesgaden, Germany; Rossfeld-Ringstrasse Loop; Wilfried and Renate; Burghausen
Mon Sept 23  Oktoberfest!
Tue Sept 24    Salzburg, Austria; stay in Bad Reichenhall, Germany
Wed Sept 25  Day trips to Inzell, Germany; Hellbrunn Schloss, Austria; Hallein, Austria
Thu Sept 26   Vaduz, Liechtenstein; Appenzell, Switzerland
Fri Sept 27     Appenzell; Lucerne

Week Three
Sat Sept 28    Lucerne, Bern, Boonie
Sun Sept 29   Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen Valley 
Mon Sept 30 Vevey, Switzerland, Mihaela Darii Sposato, Chillon Castle in Montreax, drive toward Munich
Tue Oct 1      Drive to Neufahren, Germany
Wed Oct 2    Munich
Thu Oct 3     Fly home 

Janet has gotten everything planned for her absence at work. I have printed out all the driving directions and maps and itineraries. Mail and newspaper cancelled. Fresh food eaten or ready to take to Brandon and Nika. Beer-drinking training completed. Let's pack and go!
